RICHARD PESCARINO (Math)
St. Louis Community College, St. Louis, MOMy approach is more student-centered [since participating in GSCC]. I focus more on connecting with the students and trying to motivate them, rather than just delivering a clear lesson.

National Jam Wrap Up from the Project Director
When we first discussed hosting a National Jam we were excited, but we were anxious. We’d set our sights at attempting to reach 400 registrants for the event. Before we even implemented our communication plan, we’d hit 800 registrants! We were overwhelmed with excitement. But what really energized us was when our Jam attendees really demonstrated exactly how much Pedagogy Matters to all of them.
Overall, the Jam was amazing. We can’t wait to share our report on the Jam with everyone and we look forward to hearing from our readers.
