ePortfolio

Faculty ePortfolios are online collections of work in diverse formats–text, video, audio, hyperlinks–structured to capture classroom practice and to support individual and group reflection. GSCC asks faculty to update their individual ePortfolios each week to:

  • Describe teaching goals and plans for each class
  • Document student work related to the class
  • Record and reflect on student assessments collected in the class
  • Reflect on what transpired in the class

These critical elements are gathered in four sections of the faculty ePortfolios: Classroom Practice, Student Artifacts and Outcomes, Video, and Reflection.

Together with the online community work, the faculty ePortfolios provide the inputs for our research. By looking across portfolios (and community activity), we are identifying themes and patterns and linking these to student outcomes.
